Path For Change

For over two decades, I have dedicated my career to counseling family caregivers. I know their incredible dedication, strength, and the numerous challenges they face. I have guided and supported family caregivers through the loneliness, the anxiety, the fears, and the overwhelm that accompanies caregivers on their journey.
My passion for this work stems from a very personal place. Years ago, I watched my father struggle with his own fears, loneliness, and the overwhelming responsibility of caring for my mother during her battle with cancer. His struggles only deepened even further when he simultaneously took on the role of caregiver for my younger brother, who faced severe mental health battles.
I intimately understand the whirlwind of emotions that accompanies unexpected life changes, like a hurricane turning your world upside down. With firsthand experience of sitting in a doctor’s office and receiving a life-altering diagnosis, I bring a unique perspective to my role. Living with a chronic illness myself, I understand the challenges and intricacies of needing and being supported by caregivers.
